Hello everyone! Welcome to a very new blog post. I had the opportunity of asking one of my personal favorite YouTubers some questions and I want to share that with you all today. The woman is the very lovely Georgia Bridgers. She came out on her YouTube channel and the video was so good. I’ll link her channel and Instagram down below and without further adieu let’s get right into it.

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your work, You childhood.

I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and absolutely loved it. Though my parents divorced when I was 11 years old, I felt like I grew up in a very loving home. I went to Catholic, private schools through all of grade school and high school. I am very thankful for the great education I received there, but I definitely see that it hindered how I thought about the world at the time. I barely even pondered with the thought of being part of the LGBTQ+ community because I was taught it wasn’t the right way. Luckily, I was raised in a home where we were encouraged to form our own ideas. I have always been a creative bird because of that.
2. Who is the most influential person in your life ?
The single most influential person in my life in my mom, Holly Bridgers. I would not be half the woman I am today if it weren’t for her. She has helped guide me through it all. She’s the first person I call when the going gets tough and the first person I call to share good news. She makes me proud of who I am and she has supported me 100% since day one.
3. What made you start your YouTube Channel ?
I have always loved being in the spotlight. I have also always loved making people laugh. Growing up, many people told me I should make a YouTube channel just to share my goofy self with the world. I didn’t really take that thought seriously until I was a senior in high school. I had a bad experience with the modeling industry and took to YouTube to share my story. Low and behold I started growing up on YouTube. Age 17 all the way to now 21. I just want to share my life experiences and make people smile while I’m at it.
4. What is one thing you wish more people knew about you ?
I wish more people knew how sensitive I am. On YouTube, it can seem like I have it all together and that is far from the truth! I am still figuring myself out and growing and learning just as much as the next 21 year old girl.
5. Tell me about a challenge or conflict you’ve faced, and how you dealt with it.
A big challenge I faced was accepting my sexuality. For many many years, I’ve known deep down that I had more than platonic feelings for girls. Coming out to myself was harder than coming out to anyone else. I had to accept it myself, first. Looking at myself in the mirror and saying out loud “I am bisexual” was insanely difficult, but it was a huge major step in the right direction. I journaled a lot and just really took the time to be one with myself and my feelings.
6. How do you deal with stress ? What would be your advice to someone dealing with stress ?
I am definitely still working on my stress management. Whenever I get really worked up and stressed out, I usually call my mom and she tells me the same thing every time- to live in the present, take things one day at a time, and be your best self- all will work out from there.
7. What’s your biggest achievement till date ?
Most people would think that my biggest achievement to date is my success on YouTube, but I believe my biggest achievement is being president of my sorority. It was an insanely difficult job that left my world flipped upside down, but I am so proud of who it made me to this day and I am wickedly proud of the girls who had my back and supported me through it all.
8. What would your piece of advice be to someone struggling with their sexuality ?
I would say to not put yourself on a timeline- everything happens for a reason and at the exact right time. You don’t need to schedule your coming out! Take the time to really get to know yourself and go from there. All will be well with time.

9. Where do you see yourself in 5 years ?
In five years I hope to be very successful in whatever it is that I’m doing- I’m not exactly sure what I’d like to do yet, but I know damn well it involves me being in front of and behind the camera. Most of all, I see myself being happy.
10. A piece of advice for your younger self.
A piece of advice I’d give to my younger self is to never change who you are to please someone else. Don’t miss opportunities from fear. Big things are coming- never give up!
11. A piece of advice for everyone reading this.
Above all else- always, always, always be your best self.
